# Workbuddy

## What is Workbuddy?

WorkBuddy is a desktop AI Agent workbench launched by Tencent, officially released in March 2026, and belongs to the "Buddy AI" product family alongside Tencent Cloud's coding assistant CodeBuddy. Users describe their needs in natural language, and it autonomously breaks down steps, invokes tools, reads and writes local files within authorized directories, and ultimately delivers ready-to-accept outputs such as documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and code.

WorkBuddy comes with hundreds of built-in domain "experts", a skills marketplace, MCP and connectors, scheduled tasks, and multi-Agent parallel collaboration. Its code development capabilities cover code writing, code review, bug fixing, debugging, refactoring, website and WeChat Mini Program development, and it can leverage Git branch switching and worktree isolation to advance multiple development tasks in parallel.

## How to connect Interface AI to Workbuddy?

### Get an API Key

1. Log in to the official website jiekou.ai to register.

2. Go to the management console, click "My" in the upper right corner, and select "API Key Management" from the dropdown list.

3. Click "Create" and enter a key name. It is recommended to use a recognizable name so you can easily distinguish keys for different purposes in the console later.

4. Click to copy and record the generated Key. It cannot be viewed again in the console, so please keep it safe for future use.

### Connect Interface AI to Workbuddy

1. In the Workbuddy interface, click the user card in the bottom left corner to enter the settings interface

2. In the Model tab, click "Add Model"

3. Select "Custom" from the dropdown list

4. Enter the API Key you just copied, enter the URL, select the API format (API Endpoint) suitable for the model you want to call, and enter the model ID copied from Interface AI along with related model performance information, such as context length and maximum output

5. Click "Test Connection" to check connectivity. If "Connection successful" is displayed, the integration has been completed successfully

6. In the chat box, you can invoke the world's cutting-edge models provided by Interface AI
