1. What is the difference between Nano Banana Pro and the Light version?

  • Nano Banana Pro: Direct connection to the official production version, with better stability and full feature support (such as reference images)
  • Nano Banana Pro Light: Reverse-engineered/cracked version, cheaper but less stable; some features are not supported (for example, the reference image feature may fail), and it may trigger content moderation (PROHIBITED_CONTENT)
Recommendation: Use the non-Light version in production environments. You can use the Light version in testing environments to reduce costs.

2. The image Upscale API only enlarges the image without making it clearer?

Currently, the Upscale API mainly achieves “HD enhancement” by increasing the resolution. It does not have the ability to use AI to redraw details. If you need true detail enhancement, we recommend using:
  • Midjourney’s Upscale feature (must be used with images generated by MJ)
  • Or other dedicated image enhancement models

3. The image generation API returns a 500 error or takes too long in the queue?

Possible causes:
  • Resource constraints: During peak hours (such as afternoons and evenings), video/image generation tasks may be queued (TASK_STATUS_QUEUED). We recommend avoiding peak hours
  • Unstable Light version: If you are using the Light version, intermittent failures may occur. We recommend retrying or switching to the official version
  • Content moderation: The prompt triggered safety moderation (for example, Gemini returns PROHIBITED_CONTENT). Please modify the prompt

4. The generated image URL cannot be accessed?

The COS URL returned by the platform is a presigned URL and can usually be accessed publicly. If it cannot be accessed, please check:
  • Whether the URL was truncated or extra characters were added when copying it
  • If it is used in scenarios such as WeChat Mini Programs, CORS (cross-origin) support must be configured. The platform has configured this by default. If errors still occur, please contact customer support

5. Sora 2 / Veo 3.1 is slow or fails to generate?

Video generation is a resource-intensive task:
  • Queuing is normal: During peak hours, you may need to wait 2–30 minutes
  • Task lost: If there is still no result after more than 30 minutes and the query returns “task not found”, the task may have failed. We recommend retrying
  • Landscape/portrait issue: The landscape/portrait parameters of some versions (such as Sora2) may fail. We recommend using the default landscape mode first
