What is Cline?

Cline is an open-source, bring-your-own-model autonomous coding Agent, first released in 2024 under the name Claude Dev and now maintained by Cline Bot Inc. It can read project structures, modify code across files, and present every change as a reviewable diff; combined with its Checkpoint mechanism based on a hidden Git repository, you can roll back files or conversations at any time, making the cost of trial and error nearly zero. Cline can execute commands directly in the terminal and read their output, handling long-running processes such as dev servers, tests, and deployments; its Plan and Act modes separate “planning” from “execution,” and each step can be approved individually or with auto-approve enabled. It supports .clinerules project conventions, MCP servers, and a plugin marketplace, and is distributed in many forms, including VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, JetBrains, Zed, and Neovim extensions, as well as a CLI, desktop app, and cloud tasks. How to Integrate Interface AI into Cline?

Get an API Key

  1. Log in to the official website jiekou.ai and register.
  2. Go to the admin console, click “My Account” in the upper right corner, and select “API Key Management” from the dropdown list.
  3. Click “Create” and enter a key name. It is recommended to use an easily recognizable name so you can later distinguish keys for different purposes in the console.
  4. Click to copy and record the generated Key. The console cannot display it again, so please store the Key safely for future use.

Integrate Interface AI into Cline

  1. After installing Cline, find BYOK under Provider in the settings, then locate or search for Jiekou.AI in the provider list.
  2. Paste in the API Key you just copied. The default URL is dedicated to overseas users; if you need a direct connection from mainland China, you need to change it.
  1. In the chat, select Interface AI as the provider, and you can then choose the desired model to call.
